Fact : Do you know ? Why and Which part of the body heals fastest.

Posted on Updated on

Do you know that tongue is the fastest healing part of the body.

image

We’ve all had our tongues burned, usually from a hot beverage.  Have you noticed that very soon, sometimes within 24 hours or even less, it is completely healed ?  This is even true for lacerations of the tongue, such as when you bite it.

Tongue is the fastest healing part of the body.  Actually, all areas inside the mouth heal faster than any other part of the body.  The tongue is one of the most vascular organs in the human body.  Because of this, the cells that participate in the healing process get to the injury quickly and in huge numbers.  This creates a rapid regrowth of the tissue.  Infection within the mouth is extremely rare because the enzymes in saliva kill most infectious materials.  Most injuries inside the mouth require little or no treatment from a doctor, although that is not to say you should not seek medical attention in severe cases.

There have been cases of children biting their tongue almost in half and the wound began healing even before the doctor looked at it and was completely healed within a few days.  People who have tongue piercings report that if they leave the pierced object/ornament out for more than a couple of days, even a few hours in some cases, the hole closes .

Fact : Do you know ? Why Pluto is kept out of the planetary system of sun.

Posted on Updated on

Do you know why Pluto is kept out of the Planet System of Sun ?

image

Since its discovery in 1930, Pluto has been a bit of a puzzle. It’s smaller than any other planet – even smaller than the Earth’s moon.
It is so small that surface area of Russia is more than surface area of Pluto.

image

On August 24, 2006, the International Astronomical Union (IAU), an organization of professional astronomers, revoked Pluto’s planetary status.

Now objects in orbit around our sun are :

Planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune

Dwarf planets: Pluto, Ceres (an object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter), 2003 UB313 (an object farther from the Sun than Pluto)

Small solar-system bodies: Everything else, including asteroids and comets

Fact : Do you know ? What happens if you could jump all the way through a hole in the earth to other side.

Posted on Updated on

What if you could jump all the way through a hole in the earth to other side .

image

The simple answer is, theoretically, yes. First, let us ignore friction, the rotation of the earth, and other complications, and focus on the case of a hole or tunnel entering the earth at one point, going straight through its center, and coming back to the surface at the opposite side of the planet. If we treat the mass distribution in the earth as uniform, one would fall into the tunnel and then come back up to the surface on the other side in a manner much like the motion of a pendulum swinging down and up again. Assuming that the journey began with zero initial speed (simply dropping into the hole), your speed would increase and reach a maximum at the center of the earth, and then decrease until you reached the surface, at which point the speed would again be zero. The gravitational force exerted on the traveler would be proportional to his distance from the center of the earth: it’s at a maximum at the surface and zero at the center. The total time required for this trip would be about 42 minutes. The speed of our traveler at the center of the Earth would be 7,900 meters a second. If there were no friction, there would be no energy loss so our traveler could oscillate into and out of the tunnel.

image

This trip could not take place in the real world for a number of reasons, including the implausibility of building a tunnel 12,756 kilometers long, displacing all of the material in the tunnel’s proposed path, and having the tunnel go through both the earth’s molten outer core and its inner core, where the temperature is about 6,000 degrees! It would be much easier to build such a tunnel in a small asteroid. Interestingly enough, for a tunnel that reaches from one point to another point on the earth’s surface but does not pass through the center of the planet, the travel time would still be about 42 minutes. The reason for this is that although the tunnel is shorter, the gravitational force along its path is also decreased as compared to that of a tunnel that goes through the center of the planet, which means you would travel more slowly. Because the distance and the component of gravity decrease by the same factor, the travel time ends up being the same.

Fact : Do you know ? How long it takes to evaporate all water on earth.

Posted on Updated on

Do you know water on earth evaporates daily and again come back on surface in the form of rain. What if it doesn’t rain. How long will it take to evaporate whole of it from earth.

image

First of all let me explain you what is difference between evaporation and boiling.
Evaporation happens only at the surface of a liquid and occurs at any temperature (so long as the substance is a liquid at that temperature). However, as most people are aware, liquids evaporates faster at a higher temperature.

image

Boiling, on the other hand, happens throughout the bulk of a liquid, usually starting from some site on the inside of the container and rising in a bubble to the surface. It only happens when the temperature is above the boiling point of that substance.

In a recent study scientists found that there is 1332 million cubic kilometres of water on earth. Out of which 97% is saline water and not fit for drinking. Only 3% is potable.
And about 1400 cubic kilometres of water is evaporated each day on earth. To put this in perspective, this
is about 10,000 times the amount of water consumed by the United States per day.

image

It means it will take around 2607 years to evaporate even last drop of water from earth.

Fact : Do you know ? How sensitive is your skin.

Posted on Updated on

Do You Know ? So much heat and radiation is coming out of sun per second that human skin cannot even survive on moon .

image

On earth it is possible just because of Ozone Layer .
If the Sun were the size of a beach ball then Jupiter would be the size of a golf ball and the Earth would be as small as a pea.

Fact : Do you know ? Forgetting things is good for your brain.

Posted on Updated on

Do you have a problem of keep forgetting things a lot .

image

Don’t feel bad about this because in a recent study scientists found that

Forgetting is good for Brain : Deleting unnecessary information helps the nervous system retain its plasticity.

image

But if do forget about important things too then you got a serious problem .

Fact : Do you know ? How many pages will be required to print whole of the internet stuff.

Posted on Updated on

Do you know how many pages will be required to print whole of the internet stuff ?

Two British scientists have arrived at the approximate number of pages they say it would take to create a hard copy of everything on the Internet.

The answer: 136 billion standard 8 1/2 by 11-inch pieces of printer paper.

image

Using Wikipedia as a baseline, the scientists at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom estimated 4,723,991 * 15 English pages exist on the site only.

further research leads to the result that is 136.2 billion pieces of paper.

Want some more math?

At 500 sheets of paper per ream and each tree yielding 17 reams, it would take 16 million trees to print a hard copy of the Internet.

Fact : Do you know ? There is a place where it rains diamonds.

Posted on Updated on

What if Hailstorm turns into Diamond Rain.

image

Now if you thinking that it is not possible. I would like to tell you that it is happening.
Just 588 million Kilometres away from your current location.

Yes I am talking about Jupiter.
Diamonds can form when elemental carbon, like graphite or soot created by huge lightning storms on Jupiter and Saturn, falls into the deep atmosphere of the planet where it is crushed into the gem.

image

Those solid diamonds then move farther into the depths of the planet, where they turn into a liquid near the core.
Scientists have known that stable diamonds may exist in the relatively chilly cores of Neptune and Uranus, but until now, Jupiter and Saturn were thought too hot to allow for solid, stable diamond formation.

image

So if you want ready to use diamonds in bulk. Start planning a trip to Neptune.
